GROW-A-ROW to Donate
The Grow-A-Row project is a food donation initiative based at the Westport Community Gardens. Since 2020, WCG members have grown, harvested and donated fresh, local produce to help fight food insecurity in Fairfield County. WCG donations support the Bridgeport FEED Center.
To donate, simply place fresh items in the Grow-A-Row collection cooler, details below:
What to donate: Any freshly picked edibles from your garden—even ugly, imperfect and/or over-ripe.
Where: Place in the blue cooler located at the rear of Plot #1 (front corner inside the garden fence; far-end of the parking lot, near porto-potty)
When: We will collect and transport donations each week on Saturdays around 5pm. Please place items in the cooler as close to the collection day/time as possible.
